Job Duties 

 

  • Adhere to strict SNHD food safety guidelines. 
  • Cook eggs any style as well as all foods related to breakfast and lunch. 
  • Responsible for setting up and breaking down stations for service. 
  • Communicate with chef to keep a safe and efficient workflow.    
  • Perform kitchen duties as assigned by management. 
  • Assist with stocking and organizing daily and weekly deliveries.  
  • May need to assist in washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment.   
  • Uphold our highest standards of cleanliness and safety.   
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and work ethic.  
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • The ability to work in a fast pace, high energy environment  
  • Previous experience not required we will train you. 
  • Must have current Health Card. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours. 
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. 
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. 

 

Physical Requirements 

  

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to;  

 

  • Lifting, up to 50 pounds 
  • bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing  
  • Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen. 
  • Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment. 
  • Manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks 

 

This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
